Hello there. I had a really big white colored pimple on my faceFace pain and I couldn't help but burst it. Blood came out twiceTwice-a-day as soon as I burst it and now the pimple is gone. But during the healing process, I scratched that area several times and small pieces of skin/scab(whatever you call it) came off. Well, now the bump is smaller and less redder and there's a small hole in the middle. I think it's still healing. It's been 3-4 days since I burst it and scratched it a few times. My fearFears and phobias is that will this thing leave a scar on my faceFace pain? How long will it take for the bump and slight redness to completely disappear? What can I do to speed things up? Please help!
Some people are more prone to acne scars than others. Acne scars should be treated early, with dermatological consultation, to reduce their visibility and size later in life.
There are several forms of treatment for acne scars in current usage including dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, laser therapy, chemical peels, topical application creams etc.
You could consult a dermatologist about this and decide about the further management.
