Scar after mole removal

Scar after mole removal

Hi,

Four months ago i went to a dermatologist for the removal of a mole on my face. I had it removed because i did not liked the sight of it so it was pure for cosmetic reasons.

Now i really regret doing it.

They way they removed: they used some kind of electrical burn device (which really hurts) to burn the skin to the depth of the layer where the pigment of the skin is.

Just after treatment most of the pain was gone and it looked completly burnt black, really awfull. It took 3 weeks to heal. After the black scab came off it looks red allmost as worse as the mole it self.

I am really ashamed of doing it and I really feel ashamed about the spots that are left.

These are my questions:
Can you tell me if this will ever look like natural skin?
If it will ever get a normal skin color?
I am putting Aloe Vera on it, is that a good idea?
Is there any other product i can use?
Is there a treatment that can get rid of these scars?

No need to be ashamed.  I remove moles from my patients' faces that way quite often.  The redness you describe is very likely to fade on its own.  Creams like aloe or Vitamin E may help, but it's hard to say of they're any better than waiting a few more weeks.  Why not contact the doctor who did the removal. I bet he or she can allay your concerns.

Best.
