Scar help

Hi, i got a bug bite one year ago then i picked on it and it left a scar and hyperpigmented, it's a little smaller than a dime and on my cheek. a little more than a week ago i thought that if i picked on the scar again and try to heal it before it scarred that i could prevent any scars but it got worse. the day after i picked on it i applied some aloe vera from a plant, it healed pretty fast. a couple of days went by then a scab formed, it peeled off by itself. it is now pink, i've been applying an aloe vera plant on it, leaving lemon and rosehip oil on it back and forth to see if it would get better. i want to get rid of this scar, do you have any information on what type of surgery and how much the surgery would be? or if you think a different method is better any help is appreciated, i just want to get rid of this, it's pink and is on my cheek. thank you

For such kind of hyperpigmented scars, treatment includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. But use these creams especially hydroquinone after a dermatologist’s prescription.  If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion.
