Scar tissue on scalp

Two dermatologists have said that I have scar tissue on my scalp.  (Caused when the metal piece of a barrette I wore each day simply irritated my scalp over time.)  This scar tissue never goes away!  I have used hydrogen peroxide and polysporin on the places.  They get a little better, but then eventually the top layer comes off, it oozes and bleeds, and then I put on more polysporin.  The cycle just continues on, and I am getting so sick of it.  What can I do to get rid of this scar tissue once and for all????  I've looked online for 'home remedies' but there is not much information for when the scar tissue is located on your scalp.  Thank you!
