Scar treatment

Hello, thank you for the advise about scar treatment. I have 2 scars on my face after being stitched after I was attacked. I am considering using silicone sheets. Do you think it's a good idea to use silicone sheets on my face? I've read that they are mostly used on extremities and the core and that using them on the face is controversial. What do you think? Facial scars can be treated with silicone sheets but it should be done under a doctor’s guidance. It is true that it is sued for extremities mostly and for facial scars it should be used only under a dermatologist’s guidance.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
