Scared about clusters of bumps on penis.

Ive been with my gf for about a year now. It seems after hard masturbation or rough *unprotected sex* I get a cluster of small red bumps *itchy* on the shaft of my penis. They seem to go away over time. takes about 2 weeks.. but when having sex i can always feel excessive rubbing feeling on that side of my penis. I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas of what would cause this. Another question is.. does sex trigger herpes outbreaks? Or do they come and go on their own.. These bumps only appear after sex/masturbation.
