Scarring after laser treatment

I recently had a laser treatment to remove some age spots on my face. I had visited a hair salon/body spa type place recomended by a freind of a freind that did this treatment. I was under the impression that by two weeks i would have been healed, but its been over two weeks and I still have theses burn scar/pits. From them being slow to heal, I am getting worried that they might be permanent. I am hoping they will eventually heal. Has anyone had a similar experience. Is there anything I can do to help heal (aloe gel, Mederma scar gel, skin creams) Any advice would be greatly appreciated
