Scarring

I had heat bumps on my legs, which i picked at.  They are starting to scar so I was wondering what I could do to prevent them from scaring.  I put Neosporin on them but it doesnt seem to be working.  Exactly how long does it take for wounds to heel? this has been about 2 weeks.  Another question.  I am a female, so I shave under my arms.  But after I shave you can see like a blackness I guess from where the hair grows.  What can I use to reduce this?

The best thing you can do to help marks fade is to leave them alone.  On the legs such marks may take months, but they usually go away completely, as opposed to scars which are permanent.  It doesn't really matter what else you put on them.  Leaving them alone is best.

As to "blackness" where the hair grows, if you mean stubble, then the best thing is to shave closer.  If that's not what you mean, then I;m not sure what you're referring to, and you'll need to see a doctor to find out what it is and what to do about it.
