Hello. Two years ago I got two molesBirthmarks - pigmented Gestational trophoblastic disease Hydatidiform mole Pth removed. One on my upper arm and one on my other arm. My dermtologist said that the scars need to heal and it is going to take time. Over the two years I have seen them get better. He said that if I really really wanted to, that he could send me to a plastic surgeon but that he wouldn't recommend it because I dont heal well. All i want is for the scars to go away, if not become extremely not visable because it just bothers me. Ive heard that vitamin e oil or coco butter and honey can help scars. Is that true? Are there any ways to just get rid of these scars once and for all? Please respond thank you:)
Scars after mole removal are tough to treat. There are various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids and tretinoin cream available for this.Apply hydroquinone cream on this scar and it should go away in a few days to months. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing, and abrasive treatments unless prescribed by a dermatologist during this period.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
