I have a scar on my left leg since I was a child, I went to a dermatologist and she treated me with a ND-Yag laser treatment on my scar, its has been 2 months now and the scar is still there, will I go for another treatment?
It would be ebst to reconsult with your skin specialist - take a second opinion if you are not convinced.
Most prescription creams used to lighten the skin contain hydroquinone 2-4%. In more severe cases prescription creams with tretinoin and a cortisone cream may be used. These may be somewhat irritating to sensitive skin and will take 3-6 months to produce improvement.
Let us know about how you are doing and if you need any other information.
