Scrotum Pimple Complications

I've had several large pimples on the top part of my scrotum over the years. The skin there is very thin, so I assume the pimple can grow quickly. I pop them, they usually have quite a bit of puss, and then I keep the area clean.

This happened again last week, large pimple, I popped it, that was that. There is a whitehead, then a little bit of slightly 'harder' skin around the whitehead, I assume it is inflammed skin. Even after the pimple is drained, that leaves a little 'slightly hard' bit of skin, sort of ball-shaped.

However, THIS time, now a week later, I noticed that underneath the skin in about a 1 inch by 1 inch square, there is quite a lot of tough material under the skin. It feel as if (and I'm just guessing based on what I feel) that there is a TON of puss, or the same sort of skin-inflaming reaction, under the skin. Like if it was on the surface I might be able to pop it. It isn't painful, its just very large and extensive. Browsing around, I assume the answer I will get is that it is a "sebaceous cyst" in my scrotum. But, looking at pictures of sebaceous cysts, those seem WAY too extreme. This just feels like a gigantic mass of inflamed material under the skin, as if I had a gigantic wormlike pimple.

Soo... how much puss could a pimple have in it? How gigantic could a pimple grow under the skin in the scrotum where there is little resistance since the skin is so thin? Is this just not realistic? What do I do?

<---- Original poster here,

I had this checked out, it was not serious at all. The hard material under the skin was inflammed lymph nodes, leading through the scrotum to the infected area of the pimple. It should go away soon.

<--- Original poster here, i wanted to add that it does NOT itch, I didn't even notice it until I went to clean the original popped pimple and I felt around while cleaning it. It's wider than it is tall, and around the underside of the shaft of the penis at the top of the scrotum. Maybe this helps.
