Scrotum rash, red spots on inner thighs

A week ago my scrotum started to get extremely red and itch alot.
I finally reduced the itch by applying moisturising hand cream (the scrotum skin is still red, but it feels like the problem is going away).
However, now I have some red spots on the inner thighs, on both sides.
It is not an STD (or if it is, it wasn't sexually transmited), but it might be a symptom of:
- shaving with the same razor
- talcum powder i've used to try to calm down the itch (perhaps I'm allergic)

This could be an allergic reaction to some unknown substance or dermatitis or eczema or due to sweat or friction.
You should avoid using a razor now.
You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites.
Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .
It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.
