Scrotum whiteheads

I have had a group of larger growths on my scrotum for the past few years, they seem to be right under the shaft in a line down but there are about 30-40 of them. They do not hurt unless i try to squeeze out whatever is in them then they get sore and turn into a pimple and solid white almost dried up puss will come out.  I have never had sex with strangers or un-protected sex with unknown persons, so i know i do not have an std. Curious as to what these might be. Thank you

Matt

Hello,

It looks like you are talking about Fordyce spots which are present normally on penis. Fordyce spots are small, bright red or purple papules that can appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100. They are painless and not itchy, but may cause embarrassment because of their appearance. They may bleed if injured or even during intercourse. So pls avoid picking them up.

Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization.Treatment is only necessary only if they are causing any trouble or the patient is feeling embarrassed because of their appearance.Otherwise they should be left as such.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
