Sebaceous cyst removal - Aftercare help!

So, yesterday I went to the doctor and had my Sebaceous cyst from my scalp removed. (It was located on the front, left side of my scalp), It was pretty large. I have stitches that need to be removed in about 2 weeks.
So, This is my first real "surgery" and I'm looking for some help wth after care. My nurse told me I can change my original bandage in "One or two days" It's been over a day now, and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and change it? I was also wondering what the best type of gauze / bandaging / ect would be to use on the site. What type of soap should I be washing it with ect.  I have attached a photo of the area of where it is .
Any tips / Suggestions Ect would be greatly appreciated!
