Can someone tell me what does the dermatologist do when taking a skin biospy for Sebborheic Dermatitis? Does it leave a permanent scar? Also, can someone tell me how the fungal culture is done to confirm Sebborheic Dermatitis? Are there any other tests to confirm Sebborheic Dermatitis? Tried meds and OTC products prescribed by derms and docs. This has been going on for a long time. Not working. Want to confirmation that it is Sebborheic Dermatitis and not something else.
