Seborrheic Dermatitis

I was diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis today. It is spread all over my face. I was afraid I might have Lupus. Is Seborrheic Dermatitis a symptom of any other disease?

Seborrheic dermatitis may be an independent condition.However, since stress is one triggering factor for seborrheic dermatitis, it is not far from likely that underlying disease conditions may also be present. In your case, you are considering lupus or SLE?
Why is this so? Do you have any associated symptoms like a facial rash or joint pains that may suggest the presence of SLE?
