It couldnt be bedbugs right?
Hi,
This does appear to be an allergy rash.It could be due to the facial wash because it is possible for what was once tolerated to produce allergic reactions with continued exposure.
An individual’s genetic predisposition to allergies will determine which part of his body will become the vulnerable target organ or tissue. Also the intensity of the reaction and the time duration all depend on the individual's predisposition.
This type of reaction is called Contact dermatitis.Contact dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin caused by direct contact with an irritating or allergy-causing substance (irritant or allergen).
Symptoms range from itching (pruritus) of the skin in exposed areas, skin redness or inflammation in the exposed area associated with tenderness and localized swelling of the skin.
Initial treatment includes thorough washing with lots of water to remove any trace of the irritant that may remain on the skin. Further exposure to known irritants or allergens should be avoided.
You can take anti-histamines like Cetrizine to treat the rash and swelling and apply Calamine lotion on the rash.
