Several Large Bumps next too each other on back of my head

I have several bumps on the back of my head that raise some concern for me.  I hsve had them many years, and they always had a slight itch to them.  They have never bled or anything but i recently shaved my head for st baldricks day to support childrens cancer research and they dont look pretty at all and i feel their might be something that shouldnt be.  Any help appreciated. I have uploaded pics of them to my profile.

To be honest neosporin acutually did work for me! It left some dark marks on the back of my head, but i used lemon and honey to erase the darken area. It looks very normal. Now i can have my confidence back cause it was embarrasing!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination, but it can be due to Acne keloidalis nuchae. It occurs when hairs on the back of the head and neck grow into the skin, become inflamed, and cause scar tissue. These ingrown hairs usually occur following a short haircut on the back of the head and nape of the neck.

Treatment of AKN includes suppression of the inflammation with antibiotics and steroid gels or intralesional steroid injections. So apply antibiotic cream like Neosporin or bactroban. If the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics and steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

Larger bumps of AKN present for a while or if not responding to treatments may need surgical removal.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted on how you are doing. Kind regards.
