Should I be worried?

I am going on a month long vacation in a couple of days and I don't know if I should get this checked out by a doctor first. I'm going to post a link to a photo as well. I would prefer only medical professionals answer if possible. A couple of months ago I noticed a new freckle on my hand, it isn't raised and it's pretty round. But there is a very faint red ring around it. It doesn't hurt, or itch or flake. But it's scaring me. Should I see a doctor before my trip? I'm afraid it might be some sort of skin cancer. But if the red ring wasn't around it, it would look just like a normal freckle.
