Should I be worried?

Should I be worried?

Hi-
About 2.5-3 years ago, I noticed a small growth/tag on my labia. I have no idea how long it had been there, it was very hard to notice. I had it looked at by a couple clinics at that time and both tested it with acetic acid. It didn't turn white. One clinic said they weren't sure what it was but it wasn't a wart. The other one said it could be a skin tag OR a wart but since I was sexually active I could assume it was a wart. They removed it and it never returned. I have had no problems since then. The partner I was with at the time never had anything like that in all the time we were together.
Now, I am dating someone new and started worrying what IF it was a wart? I would like to think it was a skin tag and move on but there is that possibility in my mind that it could have been a wart. If it was, am I contagious? Any input would be helpful.
Thank you

The clinic that said, "it could be a skin tag OR a wart but since I was sexually active I could assume it was a wart," was out of line to say so (since when do sexually active people not get skin tags?).  If you can, ask them to tell you whether they sent it for pathology.  If they didn't, you can still feel secure that it was probably a tag, based on its location, and the fact that your Pap smears are (presumably) normal), and in any case it was burned off, so there's nothing more to be done.

Take care.
