Should I go under a more serious test?

Should I go under a more serious test?

I'm a 29 year old women, who has hair loss for the last 5-6 years. Although I've experienced having hair loss since i was a teenager about 4 years ago it has changed dramatically. I know the hair loss can't be because of highlighting my hair which I don't do too often even before doing this in my hair I was still loosing it.  I went to see the doctor about three years ago and He only said that my hair was greasy and that I should wash it everyday. The doctor anyway send me to see an endocrinologist and He took some blood test from me and the only thing He found was one of my hormones been a litte bit low, so He gave me minovral to take I guess this was to control the level of my hormone. It has been more than two years since I take this pill which I also use as a birth control pill but it doesn' help me to stop my hair loss.
I really want to find out what my hair loss could be, I find myself picking up hair from the bathroom, when I comb my hair, when I blow dry it, in my clothes, on the floor, it's everywhere! This is not only an stetic issue but my main concern is what could be the reason? I don't want to be 50 and bold.

Please could I get some advise??? I don't know what else to do or who else to see.

Eva.
