Single recurring hive on arm

Hi!
My son if 5 years old. He has had hives in the past, whenever we introduced a new food he would get 3 or 4, or if he's been licked by a dog he'll get hives on that area. Other than that he has no known allergies. For a few months now he'll randomly get a hive on his upper left bicep. I'm just wondering what this could be? This is the arm he typically gets his immunizations in, however the hive is about an inch over from the optimal injection spot. The hive is itchy, and always appears in the evening, even on non-bath nights. It is always gone by morning. Anyone else have this?

My son also gets a single hive on his upper left bicep every few weeks.  It started occurring after his last dtap shot (kinrix). The pediatrician and the allergist didn't seem too concerned.  Has anyone found out anything more?

My son gets this as well! He'll be six in July and the first time I noticed the rash, he had a flu with a high fever. Now it comes back in exactly the same spot on his left bicep approximately once a month! I also wondered if it may be related to immunizations. I mentioned it to our family doctor a few weeks ago and she didnt seem too concerned ...
