Hi,
Most boils are caused by a staphylococcal infection of the skin. Usually the boils are brought to the point of being burst open by giving hot compresses.
In your case you seem to have done it prematurely. You can give hot compreses and wash the area with hot water and apply an anti-bacterial ointment.
If it does not respond you may have to take an antibiotic course of medications orally.
"Boils ease" will only offer relief from the pain, but will not tackle the infective agent.

It could be that there is superadded infection at the site or skin is hard due to healing process.
It would be best to show the lesion to your doctor once.
If there is itching you could take some antihistamine medications. Apply calamine lotion at the site.
Post us if you need any other information.
Regards.
