Skin Help

I would like to know what has developed on both sides of my neck and is extending to the back of my neck and to my shoulders.  They are skin colored, soft, round and sometimes I feel heat from the inside of them. They are slightly raised. I am wondering if they may be cholesterol or hormonal related?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be eruptive syringomas,  cysts, polymorphous light eruption or some benign skin growths . I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist. Eruptive syringoma presents as hyperkeratotic papule on the chest or arm. Biopsy skin can help in confirming the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

It could be acne cysts, but I don't have a picture or a way of feeling them.  I get acne cysts on my shoulders and upper back/neck area a few days before my cycle.  Some stay there for about a month and some go away after a week.

Are they sometimes itchy or painful?  If you press on them, do they hurt or does the skin around the area change color if you mess with one too much?  Look up acne cysts to see if this is what you have.  If it is or not, you still need to see a dermatologist just to see what it may be.  It could even be warts.
