Skin Problem

Hello guys! (please excuse my English)

I have this skin problem on my NECK for almost a month now. I have posted some pictures below.

It feels itchy, dry and flaky. I tried searching through Google for information but they all look the same. I hope that this is not eczema or psoriasis. What bothers me is that it looks as it is growing. I use anti-fungal soaps, creams and ointment, it helps but still I can't get rid of it. It looks better now than before because it was kinda reddish and the itch really affected my sleep. So can can you guys can tell what is this??

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much a million times!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I can understand your concern but from the symptoms definitely eczema is an important possibility as it often presents with red, itchy, dry, flaky skin. Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, Solvents, chemicals, certain foods, food additives, plants, metals, cosmetics, even urine and faeces of some animals (dust mites).

I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Oh and I don't know if it's true but Eczema and Psoriasis are hereditary right? I don't recall anyone on my relatives who had this kind of skin problems.
