no there are no blisters or cuts there and there is a simiar condition in the other armpit however its not as big or as dark as this armpit. not sure how that came about. As i said before i stopped using the deodarant i thought might be the clulprit for this but my concern is that if using other deodarants will that keep the irritation up.>?
You have mentioned that this appears to be associated with the application of the deodorant. I would agree that this may be a skin reaction to the product used. This appears to be a skin hyperpigmentation. This may not respond to a definite medication overnight. In the absence of any wounds, blisters, itchiness or excoriations you may use a bleaching cream on the area. However, before doing so, you need a full assessment by your physician. Bleaching creams may be abrasive and they may cause further irritation when used inappropriately.
Are there itchiness, blisters or open wounds/cuts in the area?
Is there a similar condition in the other armpit?
