Skin Rash

by desi525, Dec 17, 2007 06:33PM
I have a 6 week old baby and a few weeks ago I noticed a rash on his forehead, hairline, and a little on his face. The doctor said it's baby acne, but now it is on his cheeks, it's dry, and it's starting to peel. Also, his ears are peeling too. I was wondering if this might be eczema.

Hi.
It is fairly common for infants to develop rashes on the face.
You should use a mild soap or cleanser for your baby.
Use also mild detergents in washing your baby's clothes.
If the rashes persist, bring your baby back to the dermatologist for reevaluation.
Good luck.
