Skin Rashes during pregnancy turned Pigmentation

Skin Rashes during pregnancy turned Pigmentation

Dear Doctor,
Hi!  I am almost on my 26th week of gestation when I noticed  very itchy patches near my underarm.  I checked with my ob what was it but he said it's just normal for a pregnant woman.  A week passed and I can't take the annoying itch around my belly anymore which I have been experiencing the whole day long and I can't do anythng about it but scratch.  So I decided to go to the nearest GP who said it's also NORMAL. He gave me a Hydrocortisone and Chloropheniramine which didn't help me much.  As days go by, I am not having enough sleep anymore because of the super intense and burning itch that i am feeling.  It's really hard for me as I am working.  I have taken a picture of my rashes which you will see in my profile when they are still red.  Until now on my 29th week I am still having same fiery itch.  This morning I had an appointment with my ob and showed him the rashes which are appearing "brownish" in color instead of the usual red colored rashes. He said that they are PIGMENTATIONS.  And when I asked him about wether will it go or not, he told  me not everything and there will be definitely traces or he can just recommend laser treatment to remove it.  I was just wondering doctor could it be possible that the rashes have turned to pigmentation?  Because I have the same place of pigmentation where my rahses are before.  As in they're the same patches of rash I had before only thing it has turned brown that my ob was saying they're pigmentations.  I wanted to clear also doctor that until now these brown patches are still itchy.  I have tried calamine lotion but it's of no help as well.  I am also usin Dermaveen Moisturizing Lotion.  What could this be doctor?  Will the discolorations go?  Is this really NORMAL?  I wish to hear from you soon.  Will you recommend me to see a Dermatologist eventhough all 2 GPs and 2 OBs that I have seen said it's normal?  Thank you very much!  I wish you can help me on this or at least clear things a bit for me.
