'Skin Tag'?

For a number of years now, I have had a small growth coming from below my belly button. Doing a little Googling, I think it is a skin tag (think 'stalk', a little darker than my skin, lacking in any real feeling).

I was wondering if that is what it is, whether it is something to worry about, and would it cost a lot to have it removed/would it be removed on the NHS (UK)?
