Skin Tags vs Genital Warts

by justmeonline, Nov 05, 2002 12:00AM
Hi-
Speaking appearance and characteristics, what are the differences you look for to distinguish between genital warts and skin tags??  Are skin tags common in the female genital area??

Thanks in advance.

They can look very similar, though warts can have little bumps on them that make them look like tiny cauliflowers, but they don't have to have them.  Yes, skin tags appear near the female genitalia.  To be certain, you should ask your gynecologist.  Skin tags can be burned off very easily if they are annoying or disconcerting.

Best.
