Skin burning, irritated started in genitals, growing in area

I am at my wits end with my doctors. Please forgive the length of this posting since I want to be through.....and I hope I don’t give too much gross info.

I had protected sex twice, with a 20 minute break, with a lady - I used a condom.
Within 24 hours my scrotum seemed to be warm and a bit itchy. She made a comment that her crotch was burning that next day but I didn't think of anything until a while later.
Since then I have had this issue grow, change and start to drive me to the end of my rope.

After 3 weeks my anus started to get irritated so I went to my doctor and asked what it could be. They saw no issue but tested me for Chlamydia and gonorrhea – tests came back negative.
After another week I saw another doctor at a different clinic because around my anus it looked like red irritation and white spots BUT I couldn’t see it well enough to say if that is what it really was. At the clinic I was asking if it could be herpes and the doc said no it doesn’t look anything like that but more likely fungal and provided a prescription for clotrimazole cream which I used for two weeks without any known relief. (I put it that way because the symptoms come and go/move around – I’ll explain more as we go on). But I was tested for herpes anyway and it was negative – she also said it was too soon for a blood test.

I went back to my primary doctor because at this point, 7 weeks on, things have grown to what it is now.

My doctor suggested it might be Multiple Sclerosis but this had a definite point of beginning. It started within 24 hours of this sexual contact and it has grown. I have done tons of research on MS and it just doesn’t fit the bill.

Here is my current symptoms:
At times my scrotum is red, warm and itchy – most times it is slightly red, warm and itchy but at other times it gets a lot worse.
Around my anus it is warm/burning (almost like athletes foot OR like you ate LOTS of spicy food and just went to the bathroom) and at times, like today, a circle around the anus is red.
My lips feel like they are sunburnt or very chapped and even more so when I purse them (pucker them) and release.
The creases at my eyes feel itchy.
The creases at the top of my wrists feels warm and itchy and the creases of my fingers feel the same.
My butt cheeks feel like I am sitting on something wet a lot of times.

Most of these symptoms lessen with the cold.

I begged my doctor to PLEASE send me to a dermatologist but of course the day of my appointment with the dermatologist the only main symptom I had was my scrotum was slightly red and my anus was burning a bit but NO rash or redness.
The doctors keep saying without a rash it isn’t fungal. And without any sign that they can see it MUST BE mental. I disagree 100% and I am tired of being told it is in my head. My sore butt and lips say it is a real thing.

Anyone able to help? suggest something? etc??? Please.

For such symptoms dermatitis skin and parasthesia should be ruled out. Parasthesias are common in alcoholics and metabolic disorders like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidismThey can also be due to peripheral vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition.

Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the tingling is gone or not.

In case the symptoms persist then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you VERY VERY much for replying. I have two doctors that seemed to have given up with me and seem to say it is all in my head - I wish it was then I would tell it go away! But at least they are willing to refer me to the dermatologist – I don’t know what else to do if she also finds nothing.

My primary care Doctor ran some blood tests, which I need to find out what I they were, but I do know diabetes was not one of them. I know they all came back normal BUT without knowing what they were, me mentioning them doesn't tell anything.
I am a very light drinker, maybe two a week, if any, so that should rule that piece out.

The dermatologist prescribed triamcinolone acetonide cream but for the scrotum and butt cheek use, no mention of the issue around the anus, in the creases, and lips. I don't want to doubt and not follow what the doctor said so I'll keep using it until I see her again in 4 weeks.

I'll find out what the blood work was done and ask if it was thyroid plus ask for blood sugar work to be done.
I'll try the B12 and also see how that does.
I'll also buy some vitamins for less possibility of malnutrition but I don't think my eating habits are that bad.

Today when I woke up, the skin on the joints of my hands felt warm and itchy while the skin of the knuckles felt swollen. My anus area seems basically fine right after a shower but within 2 hours feels raw and by the evening it is red (which doesn't bode well for proving to the doctors that there is an issue there).

What I can not wrap my mind around is WHY it all started within 24 hours after the sexual contact. That is the main reason I think it is a contact thing - like maybe a fungus.
Plus it has a progression. It started on the scrotum, moved to the anus area and then the creases around those areas. Then seemed to be systemic. So my thinking is whatever it is couldn't it have been absorbed by the skin in the anus area and then spread to cause the issues around the eyes, lips, creases at the wrist, and fingers feeling a bit swollen at times?

I'll have to ask the dermatologist if there and any cultures she can do.

But for the next three weeks I don't know if any progress will be made figuring things out since I won't see a doctor but I'll let you know how things progress with your suggestions and if things get better or worse. And knowing how things have gone in the last two months how it spreads/changes.
It appears it is herpes.
Let me just say that condoms do not work as well as people think.
The typical symptoms are not what everyone gets.
The "2 - 14 days is when symptoms show" is bunk - I got symptoms UNDER 24 hours.
I have never had a typical outbreak, just skin redness no blisters, but yet the blood test is positive.
Life *****.
