Skin cancer?

I've had this mole in the crease behind my ear for many years but never really knew what it looked like. A month ago I noticed a strange lump next to it and thought it was maybe a pimple, but its grown a lot so now I'm not sure. Ive been taking pictures to keep track and noticed that the mole has a red spot on the top left, and some other smaller ones if you look closely. Could this be skin cancer? Could the mystery lump next to the mole be a lymph node that has swollen because of cancer? Here are photos of it over the course of the last month: https://imgur.com/a/HvUhlmw

If you have a mystery lump that's growing and not getting better- I wouldn't mess around with it and I'd get to the doctor to have them check it out.  It's always better to be safe with this kind of thing.
