Skin is sticky on my nose

I have been having a sticky nose for some time now the skin on the nose feels sticky... A while back I put a number of skin care products on my face including my nose and I remember using aloe vera plant juice raw on the bridgeo f my nose rubbing it in, I also used vaseline and a number of essentials oils which made my nose look like a shiny piece of skin almost looking strange from the skin on my face. After some time I noticed the nose began to get drier and the skin began to look matt again... but after water would touch the skin it would feel sticky after... I would like to know what I can do to restore the skin back on my nose

It can be due to seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp under the nose or anywhere on face. Topical antifungals and mild steroids are the usual treatment and combination of the two can be used to treat stubborn patches. Oral antifungal drugs and immunomodulators such as tacrolimus and pimecrolimus are used in very severe cases. The other possibilities are of eczema, lupus erythematosus or dermatitis. Best would be to consult a dermatologist and get biopsy skin done to confirm the diagnosis.
