Skin lesions on lower right leg and Shoulders one month after a possible exposure

Hi,

Three months ago i had an encounter with a csw, i used a condom for the whole time. After a month from the encounter my lower right leg and shoulders became very itchy and after some days there began to appear itchy lesions (They are grouped in patches) on my lower right leg and on shoulders. Lesions are not due to scratching because i didn't scratch the area. Now after two months the lesions are going away. I have an appointment with a dermatologist for 22nd of february but for then i don't think lesion will be there coz they are disappearing. They can't be due to scrabs, lesions from scrabs can't persist this long without propogating to other parts of the body.

Please help me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These lesions don’t seem to be related to STD’s but if they were blister sort of bumps which scabbed over, then herpes definitely needs to be ruled out.
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be hives, allergies, irritated hair follicles or viral rash. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. Also wear cotton clothes and keep the skin sweat free. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
