I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be a muscle strain or nerve pain like sciatica. It is caused by compression of lumbar or sciatic nerve. Imaging methods such as MR Neurography may help diagnosis and treatment of sciatica. You can take pain killers like ibuprufen, do some stretching exercises and yoga and maintain a correct upright posture while sitting.
Severe cases may require surgery. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards.
