Slight redness under the base of penis

by frightened:(, Jul 24, 2007 12:00AM
Hi Doctor, and thank you in advance.  Two weeks ago today I received about 10 seconds of unexpected oral from a female I do not know.  I have felt HORRIBLE mentally since as I never saw myself as tha kind of person.  Aside from that, I have been reassured from several medical professionals and a gonnorea(sp) and chlamidia(sp) test that I have a better chance of winning the lottery than catching an STD from that one event.  As the STD forum and local physicians told me that it isn't an std (though no testing has been done to check for herpes) I thought you might be the person to ask.

I finally accepted that yesterday and feel a bit better.  However, I keep feeling a slight discomfort on the underside of my penis and a slight redness at the underside the base.  I cannot locate the exact source of the discomfort when I feel around it, but it might feel a bit tender - but not sore or blistery or anything of the sort.  I could post a picture if that would be helpful, but I'm not sure it would come out well.

Waht are your thoughts and recommandations?

In closing, I really appreciate this board.  It has a ton of info. almost too much ;-) that is so much more reliatbel thatn random webistes with postings from pseudo professionals.  For that - THANK YOU.

I think that the people who said you have little to worry about this are correct.  It sounds as though you just have some mild irritation.  If no one has examined you in person, they should, just for your peace of mind.  No amount of internet reassurance can do that.

Best.
