Small Red Bumps on Penis and Scrotum

by mcmort, Oct 18, 2004 12:00AM
I have been having small raised red bumps (2mm dia) after intercourse with my fiance. One of the bumps was bigger right at the base and was clear with a little fluid in it (3mm dia).We have been having intercourse for 6 months and this just started about a month ago. It is really ithcy afterwards and get groups of raised bumps on the top and underside of the shaft and a at the base, and a little ichyness on the scrotum. It seem to be spreading in just the few days after I noticed it and it was very itchy, so we quit having intercourse for a weak and I got some Lamisil (athletes foot/jock itch cream) for it. And a week of no sex and the cream and it was cleared up. So we started having intercourse again. And it seemed to come back slowly. Over the past few weeks it has come back a little and I have put more cream on it and it seems to take care of it. I am out of cream now and it was real ichy for about three hours after intercourse today. I did not apply any cream and it seems to be fine now, and there are no raised bumps. It is just slightly red where the bumps were.

My fiance is feeking out becasue she thinks that she could have HPV. Since she has had to have a lump removed from her cervex before, she thinks she may have it. She said they didn't tell her what it was when they removed it. So she thinks she has given it to me. She recently have a papmere and they didn't find anything, but they want her to come back becasue they did not get enought tissue to do the HPV test that she asked them to do.

Also my anus has been unusually ithcy too. Any connection?

Please let me know what it may be and how to take care of it?

I think you have irritation, not an STD.  HPV (warts) doesn't clear up and come back the way you describe.  I think you should stop worrying and have someone take a look at this to get a specific diagnosis so you can forget about it.  I'm confident that your girlfriend will get good results when they come back.

Best.
