Small Wart on Eyelid

I have a small wart on my eyelid, what should I do about it? It's small but ocassionaly people will notice and think I have something stuck in my eye. I heard it's better to see a plastic surgeon rather than a dermatologist, but I don't know.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Warts on the eyelid may best be managed by an oculoplastic surgeon as this will require a sensitive procedure. It involves the eye already and ophthalmologists may be able to give you a good assessment. Cosmetic surgeons of course may also be able to guide you with this. Do not self medicate or apply anything on the area as the involved area is very sensitive.
