Small blackish bump on scrotum.

I've had a small reddish bump on my scrotum for a few weeks now, and today, there was a small black dot inside of it. When i touched it to see what it was, it popped out, and now a purplish-black and soft half circle protrudes from the bump, which has now all turned slightly purple. The purple bump sticking out is roughly 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch across, and the entire bump is no more than 1/4 of an inch across. Is this something that i should get checked out and taken care of right away?

From the symptoms it can be a hematoma, blood blister, angiokeratoma or some genital benign growth. Apply Neosporin and Epsom salt and if it persists then get an evaluation doen from a dermatologist.
