Small bump on my back (about... 1cm)

I have a bump like 3 or four inches below my left shoulder. It use to be smaller and I figured it would go away (bad idea) and it grew a little. It doesn't hurt or itch, but like unything, when it pushes up against something like a chair, it gets a irritating pinch, but still doen't hurt. the color is the same as my skin, except on the very tippy top there's a brown dot. I've had it for almost 10 months. What is it exactly and what can I do to shink it or make it gone.
I'm 13 too if that helps.

Hello,

From the description of your symptoms it sounds like sebaceous cyst. Sebaceous cyst is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin and fills with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum produced by sebaceous glands of the epidermis. It is usually painless but can become painful if infected. Then antibiotics are needed.

If painless apply warm compresses on the lump. But if it becomes painful or starts growing in size then evaluation from adermatologist is required.

Hope it helps .Take care and pls do keep us posted in case you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
