Small bump on vagina lip?

Ok so, about two days ago I started to get a mild itching sensation on my left vagina lip. Not anything serious, but it was annoying. Then today I just noticed that the itching was gone but in it's place was one, hard, lump that's kinda inflamed and hurts a little to the touch, like a bit of a pinch. I looked up some stuff about what it might be but I'm not sure yet. I'm young and kinda nervous about telling my mom about it and was going to wait a couple days to see if it gets any better. Please help!

what about if it's only itchy, i have the small bump for more than one week now, and it's smaller now than the first time I noticed it, but it's more itchy now... especially when it feel friction from my jeans/slacks or just a plain touch. I don't know if it's drained or what the head you are talking about look-like :(... what should i do about this?
btw, i noticed the bump 2 or 3 days after i got my period. is this somewhat related?

Thank you for the help but since I've posted this I did apply warm water on it and within two days it formed a head and I was able to drain it. The next day it was gone, but I'll keep an eye on it to see if it comes back. Thanks again. :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
If you are not sexually active then it can be a boil. Apply warm compresses and keep the area clean. Also apply a topical antibiotics cream like Neosporin or Mupirocin. Drainage of the boil is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription. If you are sexually active then herpes should be ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
