Small dry patches? Eczema?

Hi! I have a question (obviously)...I have had these small (smaller than a pencil eraser) little white dry patches on both my forearms, one on my back, and a couple on my legs for a couple years now. They don't normally itch unless I touch them. They aren't responding to any lotions (I have spent hundreds!) and my Doctor says "It's some kind of Eczema, moisturize" and leaves it at that.. Could it be something else? Any suggestions on what I could/should use for them? (Sorry for double posting! I forgot to add the picture!)

Photo protection is essential in the mornings with a good sun screen. Apply glycerine containing moisturizers at bed time. Foods rich in B-Carotene are a must.
Do consult your Doc.
Cheers.

So I did miss the atrophic spots! The look more like steroid induced atrophic spots (Possibly from ext.applications, if any). Asteatotic eczemas are look alikes on an older person.
Cheers!

These are white and dry though? Lentigo looks more like 'age spots". I think you saw my freckles more than the spots :), they're not very visible.
