Small growths on underside of tongue

Hello,
Today I looked at the under side of my tongue for the first time in I don't know how long.  Maybe forever.  And I noticed the presence of quite a few fleshy painless skin growths.  Could this be warts or skin tags, or . . . ?  Is it something to be concerned about?

Welcome to the Dermatology Expert Forum!

Painless, flesh colored mucosal “growth(s)” is a very non-specific description - could be a physiological variation of normal mucosal texture, but several types of pathological lesions (benign tumors, infections, etc.) have to be excluded. Clinical examination is often sufficient to make diagnosis. Only when indicated other diagnostic tools (such as biopsy) are utilized.

Bottom line, no reason to be worried, just take best care of yourself by checking this with your physician.
