I have two small lumpsLumps in the breasts under my skin one which is above my wristWrist pain maybe about 3 inches up from it the other is in my armpitArmpit lump, they are hard but i can move them , theyre no bigger than the size of a pebble. The one above my wristWrist pain has been here maybe a month and a half, and shrunk in size slightly, the only noticeble thing on my skin about it is that it is slightly whiter on that spotBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots. there is no pain with it al all, unless i push on really hard, and i dont do that.a doctor said it may be a fattyXanthoma tumor but that the fact it shrunk a tiny bit is odd. Im a 30 year old ffemale and other than a few moles i have never had anything like this, any advice or thoughts would be appreciated
In case associated with an infection or other systemic disorders, this may be related to lymph nodes.
On the other hand this may be Lipoma - benign tumors that consist mostly of fat cells. More frequently found in middle aged people, lipomas usually grow slowly beneath a person’s skin in the subcutaneous tissue. They feel rubbery beneath the skin.
For the most part, it is not necessary to treat lipomas. Since they are not cancerous growths and will not become cancerous, they generally do not present a health problem.
Lipomas may need to be removed if they cause the person pain or feel tender. Some patients wish to have lipomas removed simply because they are unsightly.
Removal of lipomas usually takes place in a surgery.
