on them they have a white fluid come out of them, akin to a pimple, but they stick around a lot longer then a normal pimple would. Like I said, they go away with the acid treatment and rarely if ever appear in the same spot
smears that have all come out fine. The doctor quickly glanced at them and told me I have genital warts, but I feel as if I've been misdiagnosed. I regularly shave my genital area and if she happened to look at one of my normal "razor bumps" (above my penis
and to the left/right of my pubic area) they look almost the same. She seemed more interested in selling me haircare products then anything else. When I called up after I got home (because I had more questions for her) she would not get on the phone. Instead another woman who worked there got on the phone and told me it "was up to me to decide, but the doctor is usually right."
I just need to talk to someone about it...and found this place online.
If you want, I will take a picture of the bump if it helps.
How are you? Genital warts may be small, flat, flesh-colored bumps or tiny, cauliflower-like bumps. In men, genital warts can grow on the penis, near the anus, or between the penis and the scrotum. They are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), unlike folliculitis, which may be due to inflammation of the hair follicles. Diagnosis is usually through visual examination. If you have doubts about the diagnosis, have this evaluated further for proper management. Direct clinical examination is important for proper diagnosis.
