Small red bumps on vagina

I've had them ever since I was young, but it's been bothering me lately. I have very small hard bumps all around the skin surounding my vagina. I am a virgin too, so I don't think it could be a sexually trasmitted disease either. please help!

You should schedule to see a gynecologist for an exam.  Consider finding a woman if you would be more comfortable.  The ones I have seen have been very nice.  Good beside manner is very important for doctors like that, so check on-line reviews to avoid seeing anybody who isn't nice to patients.

It can be due to contact dermatitis, sebaceous cysts (accumulations of secretions that can occur anywhere on the skin or mucosal surfaces), lipomas (fatty deposits) ,fibromas (fibrous tissue deposits) or small irritated hair follicles. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. Also please consult a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed.
