Small red spot covering legs and arms

Hello Doc

I have a covering of small red spots on most of my body, well apart from my ankles, feet, chest and face.
They feel very rough to the touch but don’t itch, from time to time some are pop-able.
I've tried so many different over the counter products, lost count.  My family doctor isn’t a spot fan so to speak, he just say its the way I am, get on with it.  Thinks its a waste of his time, so I went to a skin clinic and they suggested it was a hair follicle problem. They recommended very expense laser hair removal treat, which of course they offer.

Added some pictures, Please and advise would be great. Had theses all my life, 33 years of hiding most parts of my body.

To: Benny3,
Hello,
It can be due to keratosis pilaris. Keratosis pilaris occurs when the human body produces excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin. There is currently no known cure for keratosis pilaris, however, there are effective treatments available which make its symptoms less apparent. Treatment includes tretinoin or Triamcinolone cream or Adapalene, a retinoid medication. Exfoliation, intensive moisturizing creams, creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids and urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.

Thank you, what a great helpful service.

After some research into keratosis pilaris it looks like you are spot on.  Will start trying out some of the creams lotion.  Be nice for them to look less bright and to feel smoother. Will keep you updated when I find a treatment that works for me and thanks again.
