Small reddish bump/lump on tip of nose

About 6 years ago I noticed a small area at the tip of my nose was slightly raising. By slightly raising I mean nobody would notice it but me and even I could barely notice but I am always in the mirror checking my face O_O it was a perfect circle about 1/6 of a pencil eraser and the same color as surrounding skin. No changes happened over the next 5 years and I even forgot about it because you couldn't even see it. Well over the past year it has become raised and reddish in color and slightly shiny. The size has not really changed. It does not hurt and nothing comes out of it. Someone looking at it would think it was a zit on my nose. When I cover it up with makeup it looks like a raised flesh colored mole. It does not feel like a mole, it is more solid feeling under the skin yet it is movable when I touch it. I'm conserned this will continue to grow and become more noticeable and even worse..... That it is cancerous. I know people notice it but don't say anything. Any insight or advice would be appreciated. Picture:

Sometimes the sun can burn the tip of the nose as is the high spot on the face. And continuing burning and healing could cause a scaring so to speak

Thank you for your reply. This definitely seems like a "growth" of some kind. I just turned 30 and I'm wondering if hormones are playing a part in it. It's strange, I can't figure out what it is and I can't find anything on the Internet that looks similar. It is definitely a mild thing nothing too crazy (I'm glad u could see the pic; didn't think if was going through). Unfortunately I do not have insurance at the moment =\

Hi and welcome. Dosent look like anything drasticly abnormal. Could be from a bug bite years back. Most times when a foreign substance gets under the skin, like a splinter and such, the cells tend to accumluate around the foreign matter. I have a peice of splinter under my skin from 3 months back that never came out and looks like your nose.
It would be best at this point to have a dermatoligist check it out to make sure all is ok.
