Small to tiny blisters on large toe and finger.

Max
My wife has very small blister on here big toe that have been painful and I have them on two fingers which come and go. The blisters are small to tiny and full of clear fluid. The surrounding tissue becomes red and sore. When they go away the skin drys up but a red area remains. I may have caught this because I sometimes massage my wifes feet with a foot lotion. Have you any idea what they could be and how to treat them. My wife has even used a cortisone cream subscribed by a doctor.

Yours Faithfully

Guy on behalf of us both.

Hi, I think I have the same problem. I've got blisters and scaly skins at my finger tips. Now they occur at my lips too. I've heard of a new ointment called PROTOPIC. Will that be useful to my case?

Hello.  I am not a doctor, but I do have eczema on my feet and hands.  This sounds like how I am.  The redness sounds like eczema and dryness of skin, and the blisters full of clear liquid are just that..... blisters.  Its best not to break the blisters because the liquid inside can react and cause more harm to the red/rawness of the skin around it.  You may want to see your doctor and make an appointment to have an allergy test and a dermatologist appointment.  Feel free to email me.  ***@****
Good luck, Take Care,

It may be a form of eczema which affects hands and feet.  Fungus or other infections generally don't come and go like that.  I think you should show your doctor.

Best.
