Small white Bumps on Lips

I have small white bumps ranging from the corner of my mouth around the top of my lip. There is no pain or irritation. I have seen information that this may be fordyce or angular chelitis. What is the result of either of these conditions and will it worsen? If so what is the best steps I can take for removal or treatment?

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like Fordyce spots. They are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body.

They should be got removed only for cosmetic reasons as they are normally found on the penis. Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

how long have u had it? if they r cracks on both sides of your lips and it hurts to open your mouth its more than likely chlitis, this is due to most of the time a fungle infection. but if its just little dots then its most likely fordyce spots which are ectopic sabacious glands. nothing to really worry about.
